Terms of service
The fine print, in normal print.
Short version: CreditDisputeCo helps you draft dispute documents. You're in charge — you review, you decide, you mail.
Last updated: September 2026
What CreditDisputeCo is
CreditDisputeCo is an educational document-assistance tool. It analyzes the credit report you provide and drafts dispute letters, checklists, and timelines based on the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). CreditDisputeCo is not a law firm, not a credit repair organization, and not a credit services business. Nothing on this site or in its output is legal advice.
Your responsibility
- You confirm that every item you choose to dispute is, to your knowledge, inaccurate or incomplete — never dispute items you know are accurate.
- You review every letter before sending it and verify that the personal details and account references are correct.
- You print, sign, and mail your own letters. CreditDisputeCo doesn't submit anything on your behalf.
- You understand bureau investigation timing (generally 30 days from receipt, up to 45 in some cases) and track your own deadlines.
No guaranteed outcomes
Nobody — not us, not a law firm, not a $149/month service — can guarantee that a bureau will delete an item or that your credit score will change. CreditDisputeCo provides correctly structured dispute documents; the outcome depends on the bureaus and the companies that furnished the information.
Free during beta
CreditDisputeCo is free while in beta. We may introduce a paid plan in the future; anything you generate during beta remains yours.
Acceptable use
- Use CreditDisputeCo only for your own credit reports or reports you're authorized to handle.
- Don't upload someone else's report without their permission.
- Don't attempt to disrupt the service or misuse the analysis API.
Limitation of liability
CreditDisputeCo is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for decisions you make based on its output, for bureau or furnisher responses, or for any credit-score changes. If a situation is complex — identity theft, mixed files, legal threats — talk to a consumer attorney or visit IdentityTheft.gov.
